‘Ramadan’ Islamic Culture Experience in New York University

Every night in Ramadan for a community Iftar (dinner) to break your fast. Taraweeh prayers will be held after Ishaa Prayer every day of this blessed month. This is open and free for everyone in the community, so bring your family and friends. It doesn’t matter if you’re new to the community or have been here for years welcome for everyone. It’s all part of what makes the Islamic Center special.

During Ramadan, the free iftar dinners will travel the globe and include vegetarian options. There will be a variety of programs, including a sisters only qiyam, throughout the month, insha’Allah. Finally, at the end of the month, there is a celebrating Eid al-Fitr with prayers and brunch open to the entire community. These are some of the numerous services offered at the Islamic Center at New York University.
