Gomi Yoji (1958~) is a Japanese journalist and works at the Tokyo Shinbun (Tokyo Times). Born in Geno City, Nagano on July 26, 1958. In 1982, he graduated from the department of literature. In 1983, joined the Tokyo branch of the Chunichi newspaper and went to the Kawasaki branch, the Ministry of Culture, and the Politburo. In 1997, he taught English at Yonsei University in South Korea. From 1999 to 2002, he worked in the Seoul bureau. From 2008 to 2009, he was a full-bright follower and was enrolled at Georgetown University in the United States. As of 2012, he is the editor of the Tokyo Shinbun (Tokyo Times)
