The name Rockefeller resonates with wealth. In 2016, the oil-rich Rockefeller family ranked 23rd on the Forbes list of America’s richest families with a net worth of $11 billion. What is much less known about the Rockefeller’s is their philanthropic mission to pursue a cultural exchange between Asian and American artists.

Wendy O’Neill is American Philanthropist.  Chairman of the Asian Cultural Council, where she has been a trustee since 2009. In addition, she has been a trustee of the China Medical Board since 2006 and of Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors since 2010. She served as a trustee of the Rockefeller Brothers’ Fund between 2005-2014, and was a member of American Women’s Association of Hong Kong’s Charitable Donations Committee between 2001-09 serving as its chairman for three years.



Wendy received an A.B. from Harvard and Radcliffe Colleges in East Asian Studies and a M.A. from UCLA in History with a specialty in Chinese History.She has worked in China trade as well as investment and was the first foreign intern at China International Trust & Investment Company.
