Andersen’s Little Mermaid is reborn as Song of the Mermaid by K-Arts Ballet!
The New York Premiere performance will feature Principal Dancer, Kimin Kim of the Mariinsky Ballet as the Prince, who has previously performed, and received rave reviews, as a guest artist with American Ballet Theater. The coral flute is a mysterious instrument that only the mermaids can play. The little mermaid loves to play her coral flute, but gives up the ability to make sound when she becomes human.
After tragedy strikes his ship, a prince finds himself drifting beneath the ocean waves. Saved by a beautiful mermaid, he finds himself at the center of a fantastic aquatic festival.
